Hello, my name is Nicola Winborn and this is my latest art project – my very own blog. Those of you who already know me will be familiar with my other ventures such as Attic Zine, Marsh Flower Gallery and Infinity:My ND World. However, I need another string to my bow, as they say, and a blog seems perfect for my needs. So, what will I be exploring here? I plan to make this a meeting point for: Rubber Stamp Art; Attic Zine: The International Book of Colour; Neurodivergent Identity and Art; and the development and evolution of my own micro venture – ‘Marsh Flower Press’ (MFP). MFP is the home of Attic Zine and was born at the same time as my International Book of Colour: I have plans to develop MFP further and I will be sharing these in due course. I guess this is one of the reasons I wanted to set up this blog – I need a new electronic space where I can share my ideas around this, the latest developments and my collaborations with other artists. I also need a space where I can bring the different strands of my practice together (my own ND identity, rubber stamps, book making and zines) – a blogging set up is good for this. I am excited and I will post on here again very soon. In the meantime, here are 5 images I’ve never shown anywhere else before. They form part of my digital art practice. At heart, I am an analogue girl, but the digital realms are places I like to journey to also.
